The nearest railway station is located in the region of Siliguri, called as New Jalpaiguri Railway Station. This is a broad gauge railway station that is well connected to many other places in the Indian subcontinent through a network of trains. Trains to the railway station in New Jalpaiguri will be available from Chennai, Mumbai, New Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, Guwahati and even Jabalpur. A narrow gauge link connecting the hill station Darjeeling with New Jalpaiguri will also be available. Train fares are significantly lesser than bus fares, and fares from the capital city of New Delhi to New Jalpaiguri will cost around Rs 434 for the basic class of travel.
