A wonderful destination, Vellore Fort is one of the historic places of this region which is located at a distance of 23 Kms from Arcot. It is spread in an area of 53, 8231 sq m and a church, temple and mosque are located here with several other buildings. This attractive destination is a famous for its masonry, ramparts and moat and Sri Jalakandeswarar Temple is the prime attraction of this Fort which is devoted to Jalakandeswarar and is very popular for its sculptures.
