Longtrok is a village where the ancient relics of the Tsongliyangti and Chungliyangti civilisations are represented by the six legendary stones. Tsongliyangti, Chungliyangti and Chungliyimti are considered important amongst the six stones. Local people believe that the Sangtams are the personifications of the ancient God who gave birth to other stones and moved them to different places.

According to Ao legend and beliefs, the first Ao ancestors had emerged from Longtrok. This spot also offers a beautiful view of the towns on hilltops scattered over the distant horizon.
