One of the largest and most modern aquariums in Asia, Underwater World Pattaya has a sub aqua tunnel divided into three different zones: Coral Reef, Shark and Ray, and the Giant Siam.
Opened in 2003, Underwater World Pattaya is a tourist attraction featuring huge collections of marine lives found around the area. Underwater World Pattaya covers the area of 12 Rai (4.7 acres). The place offers many educational and recreational activities for both individuals and families. There are more than 2,000 exotic marine creatures and over 200 different species from Thailand and overseas. Built under the concept of a “voyage to the bottom of the sea”, the place allows visitors to begin the journey with sandy beaches and the shallow pool. Then they will walk pass tanks and displays filled with numerous exotic marine lives. The highlight is the gigantic acrylic underwater tunnels.
