Nagaland Science Centre, the first of its kind in the state, has been setup behind the Naga Shoping Arcade. It has been setup with the primary objective of developing a scientific temper in the society and promoting creative learning of science in a informal way.

It houses different galleries namely, OUR SENSES, FUN SCIENCE and CHILDREN'S CORNER. Besides this Taramandal, a uniquely designed inflatable dome Planetariun makes one soar deep into the sky by the night.Also a science park in the open air makes young children come close to the nature and play with specially designed exhibits place aesthetically in the natural surrounding.
