Zoological Park, Dimapur, Nagaland India

The Zoological Park of Dimapur is located 6 kilometres from the city centre covering a total area of 176 hectares or 434.90 acres.  The topography of the area is gentle rolling plateau with low lying area ideal for acquatic birds. Inaugrated on 28th Aug. 2008. Mission of Nagalamd Zoological Park is to inculcate and develop a sense of caring towards flora and fuana. To serve as a Conservation Centre for fauna of Nortn-East India in general and specifically Nagaland and to promote awareness, educate and provide recreation for the people of the State.
