Qutub Minar was founded by Qutub-ud-din Aibak in 1199 AD and his successor and son-in-law Shamsu'd-Din-Iitutmish. This monument is the highest stone tower in India standing at 72.5 meters (237.8ft). This is another great masterpiece of Mughal architecture
