Neelkanth Palace and Temple, Mandu, Madhya Pradesh India

The NeelKanth Palace and temple are located adjacent to each other. The temple is the shrine of Lord Shiva. The enclosure of the shrine has countless trees and a sacred pond which is fed by a nearby stream. The Neelkanth palace has awfully charming situation, offering a magnificent view of the valley below. The main portion of the Palace is enclosed by rooms to its west, south and east, the northern portion of the palace is being kept open to enjoy the view of the valley. There is a fine container at the center of the palace to which water was supplied by a channel built along the column of the apartment on the southern side.
