Gurudwara Bad Tirath Sahib is the most prominent and ancient Gurudwara, situated in the village of Haripura, Abohar. This Gurudwara is closely related with the first Sikh Guru - Guru Nanak Dev Ji and the tenth Sikh Guru - Guru Gobind Singh Ji. The birthday of Guru Nanak Dev Ji is celebrated with the great warmth and glory at this Gurudwara. This Gurudwara is associated with the Shiromani Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee and is managed by the local committee. It is a two-storeyed rectangular Gurudwara, beautifully constructed with white marble stones and a dome on the top of the building. This gurudwara contains a main hall, Sarovar and langar hall.
A huge pool of water, holy Sarovar is situated in the vicinity of this Gurudwara. It is an ancient pool of the village. It is believed that, during 15th century, Guru Nanak Ji came to this pond - Bad Tirath to quench his thirst. Hence this Gurudwara was named as Gurudwara Bad Tirath Sahib. Many devotees, who visit to this Gurudwara, take holy dip in this Sarovar.
