Luturu Mahadev Temple is a popular tourist destination located at a distance of 4 km from Arki Solan District in Himachal Pradesh. Devoted to the Hindu God Shiva, this temple was built by the king of Baghal in 1621.
According to a myth, Lord Shiva appeared in the king's dream and asked him to build the temple. A prominent site during the Shivratri festival, the temple houses a Shivalingam, the symbol of the deity. Located on top of a hill, the temple is a classic example of Shikhara style architecture. It offers a splendid view of the surroundings as it is situated at a high altitude.
According to legends, this Temple have been constructed after dream of Raja of Bhagal, in his dream he saw Lord Shiva asked him to build a temple on top of the mountain.
