Laxmi Narayan Temple, Kailashahar, Tripura

Located 7 Kms from Kailashahar, the temple was founded 45 years ago. The temple was built with some financial help of the royal family of Tripura. The legend states that Tamal tree is very deeply linked with the life of Lord Krishna; the Tamal tree in front of the temple is about 35 years back. The branches of the Tamal tree have spread so beautifully that it had formed the shape of a Canopy which is quite attractive.
