Gandhi Smriti stands as a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. The building was established in 1955, and it has a huge collection of books and other items that were used by Mahatma Gandhi. Aside from the museum and the picture gallery, Gandhi Smriti also houses the Khadi Gramodyog Bhandar and a library. An array of embellished items that are high quality local and traditional handicrafts and embroidered products are available at the Smriti. The memorial has also kept alive Gandhiji's association with Bhavnagar with a niche collection of artefacts belonging to the Saurashtra region. Visitors may collect the dazzling artefacts as mementos of their visit to the place.
